One shackle equals . metres, a practical length on board that has since become the global norm. At Wortelboer, we supply stud-link and short-link anchor chains in a wide range of sizes and finishes. Meet Michel van Rij, our new International Technical Sales Manager! ️ With over years of experience in anchors and chain cables, he knows the maritime world inside out. From warehouse assistant to production manager, he has seen every side of the business and, along the way, discovered his passion for the commercial side: helping customers with solutions that truly work. At Wortelboer, he’s especially excited to expand his knowledge and connect with new people. And he’s already enjoying being part of the team: “Wortelboer has a fantastic team of passionate professionals with a wealth of experience. And not to forget: our own product, which allows us to maintain control over the quality of what we deliver.” Outside of work, you’ll find Michel on his motorcycle, at a concert, or making music. Welcome aboard, Michel! — Ontmoet Michel van Rij, onze nieuwe International Technical Sales Manager! ️ Met meer dan jaar ervaring in ankers en kettingen is hij helemaal thuis in de maritieme wereld. Hij heeft alle facetten doorlopen, van magazijnbediende tot productieleider, en ontdekte gaandeweg zijn passie voor het commerciële stuk: klanten helpen met oplossingen die écht werken. Bij Wortelboer kijkt hij er vooral naar uit om zijn kennis verder uit te bouwen en nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. En dat doet hij in een team dat hem nu al goed bevalt: “Wortelboer heeft een erg fijn team met gepassioneerde mensen die allen een bak aan ervaring hebben. Deborah Touwslager is leaving our team to embark on a wonderful new adventure. After almost years at Wortelboer, we say goodbye to a colleague who has contributed enormously to our growth, our relationships and the way we work together. Thank you, Deborah, for your commitment, energy, and all the great moments along the way. And of course, this farewell is in true Wortelboer style! ️ — Deborah Touwslager gaat ons team verlaten voor een mooi nieuw avontuur. Na bijna jaar Wortelboer nemen we afscheid van een collega die veel heeft bijgedragen aan onze groei, onze relaties en onze manier van samenwerken.
