They are currently on site, taking care of the complete installation of the anchors and chain cables. New talent in our office! Sara de Haan recently joined our sales department as an intern. She would like to introduce herself: “Hi, I’m Sara! I’m currently in the second year of my Sales & Account Management degree at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and I recently joined Wortelboer as a sales intern. My interest in sales was partly sparked by seeing my father work in international sales. During my previous studies at the Hotel School, I gained a lot of experience in hospitality and working with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I am using that experience in my current degree and look forward to putting it into practice in a commercial environment. I’ve now completed my first few weeks at Wortelboer and have received a very warm welcome from the team. I’m looking forward to learning more about the company, its products, and the maritime industry, while continuing to develop my sales skills. I’m excited to see what the coming months will bring!” —- Nieuw talent op ons kantoor! Sinds kort is Sara gestart als stagiair op onze salesafdeling. Zij stelt zich graag even aan je voor: “Hi, ik ben Sara! Ik zit momenteel in het tweede jaar van de opleiding Sales & Accountmanagement aan de Hogeschool Rotterdam en ben sinds kort gestart als stagiair op de salesafdeling van Wortelboer. Mijn interesse in sales is mede ontstaan doordat ik van dichtbij heb meegekregen hoe mijn vader in internationale sales werkt. Tijdens mijn eerdere opleiding aan de Hotelschool heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan met gastvrijheid, het werken met verschillende mensen en culturen. Deze ervaring neem ik mee in mijn huidige opleiding en wil ik nu verder inzetten in de commerciële wereld. Inmiddels heb ik mijn eerste weken bij Wortelboer erop zitten en ben ik erg leuk ontvangen binnen het team. Ik kijk ernaar uit om de organisatie, de producten en de maritieme sector steeds beter te leren kennen en mezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen sales. Ik heb er veel zin in!”
