Yesterday, we celebrated a wonderful milestone. Our colleague Peter has been with Wortelboer for no less than years! Over the years, Peter has been invaluable to our company through his dedication, craftsmanship, and loyalty. He has witnessed change, experienced growth, and has become a familiar face for many as well as a trusted source of knowledge and experience. Peter’s extensive expertise in anchors and chain cables makes him a valuable asset to our team. We marked this special occasion with presents and a celebratory lunch. Peter, thank you for everything you’ve contributed to Wortelboer. We’re proud that you have been a member of our team for so long already and look forward to what’s still to come!

Deborah Touwslager is leaving our team to embark on a wonderful new adventure. After almost years at Wortelboer, we say goodbye to a colleague who has contributed enormously to our growth, our relationships and the way we work together. Thank you, Deborah, for your commitment, energy, and all the great moments along the way. And of course, this farewell is in true Wortelboer style! ️ — Deborah Touwslager gaat ons team verlaten voor een mooi nieuw avontuur. Na bijna jaar Wortelboer nemen we afscheid van een collega die veel heeft bijgedragen aan onze groei, onze relaties en onze manier van samenwerken. Dankjewel voor je inzet, energie en alle mooie momenten van de afgelopen jaren, Deborah! En uiteraard is het vertrek ook volledig in stijl! ️

Winter in the port! ️ Our site in Rotterdam is covered in a layer of snow. That doesn't happen very often! The year is coming to an end. We look back on a year full of great projects, strong partnerships and the trust of customers all over the world. Thank you to everyone we had the pleasure of working with this year. From steel to powerhouse. ️ Our patented POOL TW anchor - a high-holding-power design used worldwide - is built step by step in our warehouse in Rotterdam. Thanks to its smart design, this anchor can be up to % lighter than a conventional one, without compromising strength or reliability. Its balanced construction ensures it always returns to position. ️ Every POOL TW anchor comes with a class certificate and is available in a standard black finish, a galvanised yacht finish, or with a special coating! — Van staal naar krachtpatser. ️ In onze loods in Rotterdam bouwen we stap voor stap ons eigen gepatenteerde POOL TW anker op: een high holding power anker dat wereldwijd wordt ingezet op allerlei soorten schepen. Het slimme ontwerp zorgt ervoor dat dit anker tot % lichter kan zijn dan een conventioneel anker, zonder in te leveren op kracht of betrouwbaarheid. Dankzij de gebalanceerde uitvoering keert dit anker altijd netjes terug in positie. ️ Elk POOL TW anker is voorzien van een klassecertificaat en kan geleverd worden in standaard zwarte uitvoering, in gegalvaniseerde jachtuitvoering, of met een speciale coating!

That’s a wrap on Metstrade ! Three days filled with yacht technology, industry peers and engaging conversations. We’re off to a great start at the Europort exhibition ! We officially kicked off the event during the festive opening ceremony in Rotterdam last night, a wonderful evening spent with our team and long-term connections! Over the next few days, you’ll find us together with the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council at stand , right here in Rotterdam Ahoy. We’re looking forward to seeing many familiar and new faces.
